About Us

We build new single-family custom homes. Most projects take one of three shapes: a new home on land we help you evaluate before you buy it, a new home on a lot you already own, and preconstruction work — budgeting, scheduling and constructability review — carried out before anyone breaks ground.

We are the builder, not the architect. The design comes from your architect or designer. Our job is to make it buildable, price it honestly and construct it. We are glad to work alongside a designer you have already engaged, or to point you toward people we have built with before.

Our work is concentrated in Oakland County — Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, West Bloomfield, Franklin, Troy, Rochester Hills, Novi and Northville — and extends across Metro Detroit into Wayne, Macomb and Washtenaw counties.

Staying inside one region is deliberate. It means we already know the building departments, the inspectors and the trades, and it means someone can be standing on your site the same morning you call rather than the following week.

Zamzam Development is the construction company. Two separate businesses operate alongside it under the same family name: Zamzam & Associates Real Estate Group, brokered by eXp Realty, and Zamzam Property Management.

For someone building a custom home that usually matters in two places — finding and evaluating a parcel before you commit to it, and deciding what to do with the house you are living in now. You are under no obligation to use either one, and nothing about your build changes if you do not.

Zamzam Development is a residential builder and does not provide real estate brokerage or property management services. Those are separate companies; the real estate arm is brokered by eXp Realty.
