Our Approach

Zamzam Development is a custom residential builder working across Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan, with particular focus on Oakland County. We build new homes for people who want real control over how their home is designed, specified and finished — rather than choosing from a production builder’s fixed menu.

Choosing a builder is a difficult decision, and often an overwhelming one. Our job is to take the stress out of it: to give you straight answers early, keep one person accountable for your project throughout, and make the process something you can actually follow.

We have always believed the client should be leading the decisions, not reacting to them. A custom home involves hundreds of choices, and the difference between an enjoyable build and an exhausting one is usually whether those choices arrive in the right order, with enough information attached.

So we listen first. We ask how you actually use a home before we talk about square footage, and we put real numbers against your priorities early enough that you can still change your mind cheaply. Our role is construction — planning it properly, running it cleanly, and standing behind it when it is finished.
